Do you want to get a few days cycling in the sun of southern Spain, but can't manage an entire week away from work? No problem! We always aim to cater our cycling holidays and cycling training camps to suit the needs of our guests.  We can accommodate you for a weekend training camp from 3 days or more depending on your requirements.

Typical Weekend´s Itinerary: 

  • Thursday/Friday Arrival, build bikes, depending on your arrival time a short spin to test the bikes or alternatively a long ride. Dinner in the evening and then relax.

  • Friday: Introduction to the Sierra Nevada! Light spin for 2 to 3 hours and an optional longer route of 4 to 5 hours.

  • Saturday: Medium spin, 3 to 4 hours or an optional longer route of 5 hours.

  • Sunday: Can be a light spin in the morning and then transfers to the airport. Alternatively, if you take a Monday morning flight, another long day in the saddle of 5 to 6 hours to get the most out of your weekend.

  • Monday: Breakfast, optional training ride of 2 to 4 hours, lunch, transfers to airport.

Please note, the area where we are based is quite mountainous and you will be expected to tackle long and arduous climbs each day. Please refer to the FAQ section or contact us if you´re concerned about whether you are fit enough.

The Perfect Location

We´re based on the Costa Tropical, which is blessed with 320 sunny days a year making it a perfect location for your winter cycling training camp. The Costa takes its name from the sub-tropical climate which enables the cultivation of exotic crops such as mangoes, bananas and citrus. With warm winters and long hot summers, the average year round temperature is 20c.

The Costa Tropical is the perfect place to start of your winter training regime and get those important early season base miles in. We´re situated on the warmer southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, with easy access to the warm coastal routes of the Costa Tropical. The area boasts lots of traffic free, quiet, country roads, making it a perfect destination for your cycling holiday/training camp. It´s an area used in the by the likes of Ireland´s Dan Martin and Poland´s Michal Kwiatkowski for their early season spring training camps.


Our prices for our Weekend Cycling Training Camps are €450 for a 3 night stay (i.e. arriving on Friday and flying home on Monday) or €500 for a 4 night stay (arriving on Thursday and departing on a Monday). Please note that places on all of our cycling training camps are limited,  they are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. So please don’t delay, book today!

Your Health and safety are paramount to us, however, please note TRAVEL INSURANCE IS MANDATORY. Please ensure you are covered for cycling, accidental damage to bike and personal medical . Check out for your insurance cover.

Single Supplement

Traveling alone or just prefer your own space? No problem, we can arrange for you to have your own bedroom in one of the apartments for an additional €25 per night. 

Bike Hire

We offer 20% off all of the rental bikes listed on our website here. 

Airport transfers

We offer transfers to and from Malaga International airport. The price per return shared transfer is €50 per person. Individual private transfers may cost more.

Level of Cyclist:

To participate in our camp, a good  level of cycling  fitness is required. Ideally, your weekly long spin is 3-5 hours long, or 70-120km. The area where we are based is quite mountainous with lots of challenging climbs. Therefore, most days you will be climbing and descending. However, if you're used to tackling long rides on the weekends you will enjoy the challenge ahead. If you have any concerns regarding your suitability for any of our cycling training camps or holidays please feel free to contact us. The main aim of the week is to go away in better shape than you arrived, challenged, invigorated and have had some fun whilst enjoying the warm sunshine of Southern Europe.


Do you have friend or loved one who would like to come but isn't a cyclist? No problem at all. While the cycles are during the day, evenings are free time so why not go out and explore the area together, enjoy nice meals and some local wine. There is also a free day on the itinerary to spend together. Prices for non cyclists are €35 per night.

Food & Drink

We can prearrange a quality 3 course evening meal with our local restaurant, Meson Naciemento. The meal also includes a drink of your choice and all for the price of €20. The meals are preset with some variety but the restaurant also offers an a la carte menu. However, guests must pre-book the set menu option.


Accommodation is on a self catering basis, but if you wish for us to arrange a continental breakfast, your breakfast supplies or any special dietary requirements please inform us and we'll happy to accommodate your requests. 

Getting to the beach, shops, etc

The beach and the larger town of Motril are only 10kms. Local taxis are relatively inexpensive and a return trip can be arranged if requested.
